The fire is under control, but the rescue service is still on site to secure the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fire started in the Stora Hammarsj\u00f6 area on Sunday and by late evening, firefighters had brought the spread under control, with the help of helicopters that water-bombed the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The terrain is the biggest obstacle for us. It is mixed forest, rocky, hilly and densely overgrown, rescue leader Ulf Bowein tells TT.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Right now, the focus is on keeping a 20-metre outer ring free from the fire, while allowing the fire to burn inside it. The rescue service is also getting help from landowners with mop-up and monitoring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>They will remain for maybe four or five more days, says Bowein.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>There has also been a fire in the area in Boxholm in \u00d6sterg\u00f6tland, local media report.
