A five-year-old girl is seriously injured after a violent incident in Helsingborg, Region Skåne states on its website.
The police are on site with several patrols and have cordoned off a large area adjacent to Furutorpsparken but do not want to say whether anyone has been detained.
“I cannot say anything about the incident itself at this time,” says Jakob Palmgren, police spokesperson.
Helsingborgs Dagblad has spoken to witnesses to the incident who say they heard screams from the park and saw an injured girl.
According to police, there is no danger to the public.
